Jan S. Prewitt is a dedicated mental health professional and the founder of YESS Wellness and
Consulting Services, LLC, where she leads with compassion, experience, and an unwavering
commitment to empowering individuals and families. With over 19 years of experience in the
mental health field, Mrs. Prewitt has established herself as a trusted leader in counseling,
behavioral health, and community-based wellness services.


Her career began with an extensive tenure as a Youth Court Counselor, where she served for 7 ½
years, advocating for at-risk youth and guiding families through some of life’s most challenging
transitions. Over the years, she expanded her expertise to include multiple specializations,
becoming a Certified Anger Management Specialist, Parenting Educator, Mental Health First
Aid provider, and Mental Health Practitioner.


Mrs. Prewitt is also a Licensed Public Notary for the State of Mississippi with over five years of
service, extending her professional reach into legal and administrative support for clients.
Academically, she holds both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology,
equipping her with a strong foundation in clinical practice and applied psychology.


In recognition of her expertise, Mrs. Prewitt has been awarded contracts to serve as a Mental
Health Consultant, providing vital services to schools, community programs, and organizations.
She is also certified to provide court-approved classes for both adults and youth, addressing areas
such as parenting, anger management, substance use, and life skills.


Through YESS Wellness and Consulting Services, she and her team deliver a diverse range of
mobile and in-office services tailored to meet the unique needs of individuals, families, and
institutions. These services include mental health evaluations, substance abuse assessments,
biopsychosocial evaluations, court-approved training programs, drug testing, and notary services.
The organization is also expanding into online classes and evaluations, broadening access to
critical resources across communities.
